Message from the Principal
Welcome to Boyet Junior High School. We have an outstanding school where caring, dedicated teachers provide a strong instructional program within a safe environment conducive to learning. An active PTA and an extensive group of volunteers support and enhance our school program. Boyet has a proud history of providing an academic program with high expectations and producing students well prepared for their high school years. This standard of excellence continues to be our focus. All of us at Boyet look forward to your time here and invite you to become an active member of our learning community.
Our Mission
Our mission at Boyet Jr. High is to accept the individual needs of every child, utilize the diverse talents and skills of our staff to effectively respond to those needs, and create a highly challenging and supportive learning environment wherein children and staff grow together in capacity and community.
School Vision
Boyet Jr. High will develop students to be socially, emotionally, and academically prepared for their future lives as young adults in the 21st century. We will define our PURPOSE together, RESPECT all living things, demonstrate INTEGRITY in our decision making, embrace SELF-DISCIPLINE, and exhibit EMPATHY towards everyone.
COLORS
The school colors are Red, White and Blue.
At the beginning of each school year, each student will be given a parish “Handbook on Attendance, Discipline, and Student Records.” Students and parents are encouraged to read both that handbook and Boyet Junior High Parent-Student Handbook to familiarize themselves with the parish and school rules and regulations. Nothing contained in the Boyet Student Handbook is designed or intended to supersede any regulations contained in the parish handbook.
